Attention Motor Carriers – Please be reminded that FlexiVan (Flexi-Van Leasing, LLC) is now an active chassis provider participant with the Uniform Intermodal Interchange and Facilities Access Agreement (UIIA), which also offers various benefits for motor carriers, including expedited chassis interchange processes, streamlined management of all documentation and extended customer support services.
What does this change mean for you?
1. Before booking any chassis with FlexiVan (i.e. daily, pool, term lease), motor carriers must be:
A) registered with the UIIA and have completed both the UIIA FlexiVan addendum and credit application. Register with UIIA here. All Motor Carriers failing to do so may impact their ability to continue to interchange equipment with FlexiVan (as of Sept. 15, 2020). Here’s a quick video tutorial to help guide you through the registration process.
B) registered directly with the FlexiVan organization. Register with FlexiVan here.
2. All credit and insurance documentation must now be submitted directly to the UIIA instead of FlexiVan. FlexiVan is still involved in the credit and insurance approval process, however has transitioned the collection, tracking and management of all required customer documentation to the UIIA. There is no longer any need to mail or fax any documentation to FlexiVan. This includes any insurance cancellation or reinstatement notifications must now instead be provided to the UIIA.
