Effective immediately, IANA’s Service for processing Driver Vehicle Examination Reports (DVER) has been discontinued. Until further notice, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced they will no longer be transmitting DVER inspection data to IANA.
When DVERs are issued to drivers during a roadside inspection, all Motor Carriers are responsible for complying with federal regulation FMCSR 396.9(d)(1), which requires proper delivery of DVERs to appropriate parties. Without IANA’s DVER program to assist in this process, Motor Carriers are now responsible for directly sending chassis providers copies of DVERs they are in receipt of while in possession of leased equipment.
As such, please email copies all DVER reports directly to FlexiVan at DVER@FlexiVan.com. Kindly ensure that both the DVER# and chassis unit # are listed in the subject line of your email.
